Drove to Vivo.... My baby is right man, damn many cars lo! Couldnt find a parking lot...
Hee hee... but lucky me.... drove 2nd round then straight found one lot! Poor uncle!!! Bye!

Met baby @ IMM last night for dinner and some shopping....since I haven't been to IMM after the revamped. haha.... Mountain Turtle...
Baby bought this super cute bedroom slippers for me lo!! I love it so freaking much!!!! AHHh!

And of course, we passed by a PINK cart, selling everything PINK and FURRY!!! AHHH!!! Couldn't resist it....bought a pink tissue box cover for my mummy.... and bought this pink and black mirror!! hee hee! Freaking nice right!

My Employer the BIG Bully

"Dear Michelle,
I would like to inform from today onwards, you are fully in-charge of all the academy's administrative/paper work duties. In addition, you are strictly prohibited from using the academy's computer. We have found that certain important documents in both academy's computers has been deleted. Management will look into this matter and appropriate measures will be taken if anyone is found to be deleting or transferring important documents from the academy's computers to other third parties.

With referring to your job scope, you are supposed to market & bring in business revenue to the academy during your tenure. ...blah blah blah.... Therefore, I would like to assign a new duty for you. You will be responsible in cleaning and arranging all the golf equipments in the academy within these 2 days.

I will carry out a thorough check on all golf equpiments if necessary. If you are found to have not carried out or performed your duties, the management has the right to deduct your monthly salary accordingly."

This was the letter I received after that day when I did not agreed to stay for OT.

Equally shocked..., I called MOM to check my employee's right. Apparently, once my contract says "The company reserves the right to change," there is nothing I could do about it! WTF!!! My employer can just change my job role anyhow...or even deduct my salary anyhow! OMG!! Now she has changed my job role from a Marketing Communications Executive to a GOLF CLUB CLEANER!! "Go toilet and use water to wash all the clubs.... blah blah blah" called my boss early in the morning. F****!

Being forced to the edge of the tip, I couldn't do anything about it.

Know how it feels, when an employee could not do anything at all about their rights?
Well... this is it....

My pride and values have definitely ruled over me. I decided to leave 5 days earlier then the intended resignation date, and pay them 5 days of my salary.

Yes. That was exactly what happened. You could imagine how bullied I was by my employer. I don't expect nice treatment from them in the first place after I tender....however, this is too much to the extreme....

This is the last time I will be complaining about this company in my blog... ever.....
Indeed through this experience, I learnt not to be too trusting and navie. Honestly, although I put up a strong face, I was affected emotionally, physically and mentally. Never had a good sleep since after I worked there, always had nightmares.... Dragging my feet to work 6 days a week.... tired and weary.... with confidence being all drawn away.... feeling fearful... lost...

But thats all in the past! I am slowly recovering now.... hee hee.... Slowly but SURELY to gain back my strength and joy!

Frustration @ work! (My last days....)

I am writing this blog @ work because I can NO LONGER take it anymore!

This post is to express my unhappiness @ my current company and how they bully us. I am not gonna write a long argumental essay on the way in which they work, but rather, just to temporaily express my anger and frustration!!

Firstly, i was CONNED in signing my employment contract with them. Yes i agree, i was dumb and navie! Never in my mind that I could ever think that companies do such a thing. They written in my contract before I resigned from my previous company, that my working hours is 10am - 6pm. However to my shock and horror on my first day @ work, (my boss was not even around), that I saw on the wall my schedule-> 8am-4pm, 11am- 7pm, and 2pm- 10pm. WTf!! No one even told me! I just happened to be looking @ the wall that i saw it!!!

In addtional, I wasn't told that I have no lunch break. In the interview, they mentioned that "staffs can go out to eat, but normally those existing staffs will eat in also ... blah blah blah...." Ya right! Bull S****!!! My working hours per day therefore becomes 8 hours per day. i work for 48 hours per week! Which in fact according to MOM employment rights, that any working hours above 44 hours every week is considered as OT.

Moreover, employees should be given at least a break if staffs are supposed to work continously. However, i have been cheated off my rights!

Secondly, they are unethical! To me frankly, if you wanna be unethical, as long as you dont affect me it's okies... But when I am being forced to do such lies...
If you were forced by your boss to do deceitful things for her, what will you do?
Well, I stupidly followed her. How dumb can I get!? For that one time, I did those things that she wanted me to do. I followed. But whichafter, I couldnt anymore. Just once is enough, i tired to escape, giving excuses here and there.....

In fact, not only lies, she told me to spy on my other colleagues!!! How can I do such a thing? I had to lie to the customers and find out some stuffs about my colleague. I really couldn't. Once is enough....

That day I was on MC, and no one was available to cover me for night shift. You know, out of kindness, I reminded my boss that no one is covering night shift, asking her to make some arrangements. (as you know she is prone in making this kind of mistakes) However, to my horror, she just told me that she has appointment at night. And thats it! THATS IT!! WTF! I was too sick to reply her la... then after a while, she msg me that her husband will drive me to the doctor. Then i replied, 'Huh? I am not even at office.' Then she didnt reply. However, when the time comes closer in the mid afternoon, she ask her sister (who is the admin here) to contact me to ask me if I am comin to work. I just replied "no." In my mind I was thinking... "HELLO! Which part of my ENGLISH DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!!??! I AM ON MC!!! MY EMPLOYMENT RIGHT of 14 days Medical leave hor!"

Do you know what happened that evening? Someone called my house number asking for me. My brother picked up, and when I went to the phone, the person hung up. For my lifestyle, my friends do not contact my house number at all. All of them will call my HP. Feeling weird, i asked if the caller is a female or male. My bro said female. I knew it instantly, it must be my boss asking my colleague to spy on me whether i am home or not. WTF! You think i in army is it!

When I went back to work, her husband (who is also the boss) talked to me, saying that "I know you are resigning, however I hope that you could work properly. We still can be friends even after you go....blah blah..... Next time don't take MC... blah blah...."
I just told him jokingly, "huh? Dont take MC ah? Okies lo. If I fainted at work, are you gonna bring me to hospital?" And he was shunned. Then he also smile smile and started saying other things....

Thirdly, today they blew it! My schedule was in fact written wrongly again! In the past, I was being dumb enough to fix my personal time for them to cover up those last min schdules for them. Unfortundately, my soft side has been taken advantaged of. My boss kept doing the schedule wrongly, time and time again.... We have already told her before. As you know, I have already tendered my resignation a few weeks ago. I can no longer allow pple to eat me, henceforth, I will not fix my personal timing to cover this mistake again.

And guess what? My boss just told the other employee to let me know that i die die also must work OT. And when I came out of the toilet, my colleague just informed me what my boss said.

Question...., is this an order?

I called my boss mobile and told her nicely that I cannot, and that she has to make other arrangements cause I hv an appointment after my 'SCHEDULED working shift.' And you know what's her reply? She said that she also has other appointments and that she can't also. She demanded me to do OT. Of course I stand my ground and replied that I also can't. Then she started blaming me, saying that I should have informed her that the schedule is wrong... blah blah blah..... i just told her I also don't know... Moreover, she has just hired a new employee, and that she didnt even let me know the new girl's schedule.

Then is my fault ah??! Does it become my fault? My boss was scolding me like it is my fault! WTF!!! I just told her whatever. i didnt promise her to stay anyways, when the time clocks 7pm tonight, I AM LEAVING ON THE DOT!! Who cares about this place anymore? The more you care for them, the better they will take advantage of you.

Whats more..... the last sentence before she hung up was, "alot of pple called and complain that your email no one replied lei." WTF! What a lie! How smart can she get?! First of all, the email is a shared email, meaning anyone can reply, not neccessarily me. And moreover, it is not addressing to me. I just had my Off day on Monday, came yesterday for one day to work. And she can some more have the cheek to tell me I never reply for some time! Then she can better say why the other colleagues never reply! Why choose me to say?

Worst is, I immediately went in the email and checked, you know wad? None is for me! Most of them is addressing to my other colleagues. WTF! She just said that on purpose. Truthfully, who is not checking her email? It is my boss! She always missed out on opportunities that the company could have to gain large profits! Still have the cheek to blame us for the sales not doing well.... Just because of her as one person, lost many opportunites for gaining revenue. Don't blame me ok!

Next, the communication process, or should I say the NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL PROCESS!! I am doing Marketing Communications there, but yet when projects come, I don't even know what the hell is happening!! She doesnt even communicate to us properly. Bits and pieces to pick up. Thats not the the main problem though.....

The issue is that when it comes to employement sercuity and all, things are not properly communicated at all... My boss does things by herself. You dont know what will happen next.

Next, she hates the coaches! She told us to stand our ground and team up to go against the coaches here at our academy! Talk about Internal War! The coaches are the ones that brings money to the company anyway... She will do funny things to go against them. I really don't give a damn! But when it comes to bothering us to do things to the coaches...., it affects my daily job. I had to produce memos to the coaches. The best thing is that memos here are not a form of communication... Truthfully, it is a ONE-WAY COMMAND, which is passed down through the management, to me to write the memo, and then down to the coaches. Talk about communication? I dont think you will call that communication at all! And as you guess, who the coaches will hate? haha... They just attack whoever that pass the memos to them. who else?? you also kana lo.....

And Finally, on the 9th of Sept 2008, we had a tournament going on. During then, I was serving my one month notice before leaving the company. On that day, I came happily, eager in assisting in the event. To my horror, I was left dumbfounded after my boss told me to sit in the office from 11am all the way to 10pm as no one is around to cover the office.

Shocked! I am a Maketing Communications Executive sitting in the office doing admin! And her sister, who is the admin, went out to assists in the event like a marcom.... You tell me, is this bullying or not? The whole day, i didnt eat at all. How to? No chance to even go and buy food. They took pictures of all the employees here outside, not even letting me know. Like as if I am not part of the company. They just left me in the office like a slave dog to cover whatever that they need for them.

Talk about making used of. No choice, what can I do???

I didn't even know that they took company staffs photos until yesterday when I happened to see those photos in the computer. Talk about being left out... Somemore, one of the nice golfer came in and asked me why i didnt join them for their buffet dinner upstairs.... All I can say is.... 'If I go upstairs, then no one will be covering the office front desk. so no choice lo.'

My frustration can never be expressed fully through words....

After complaining so much, which frankly I have not finished stating all yet, I feel alot better.... Too many to say anyways.... all i can say is that i wish the new girl all the best....!

Furthermore, if one's expectation, way of doing things, personal values and moral is the same as here, they can surely be happy and satisfied here!! haha....! Enjoy man!
