D & D Poster
I was told to help design three banners for my company's D & D on 30th Oct 07.
However, last min the venue doesn't allow helium, hence the poster cannot be put up. :(
The commitee came out with a second name for our Black Team, which is Century 8. It represents century egg which is related to our celebration. Not that we are celebrating eggs, but more on the word 'century.' In additional, they said '8' also stands for prosperity. Hence I have added eggs into the design. The broken wine glass represents an explosion, which our Black Team cannot be contained.

We are from the Black Team which consists of SC, Finance, HR, IPH and IT. Black is a classic colour, which not only represents us from the Black Team, but also matches the occasion. Hence I chose to use wine glasses for the design.

Personally, I have nothing againist it, and feel that the ad is really creative. But I gotta agree with women mentioned in the article, that the pregnant woman ad has really nothing to do with cars.

Adverts killing people
I came along this issue in the Austrailian newspaper just now. And thought of sharing to those who do not know the power of 'Eye-catching ads.'
It happened quite sometime ago, and hence created a huge 'hoo-ha' to outdoor advertising.

The driver, aged 22, drove his car on the pavement and killed a 13-year-old girl instantly, while two other boys, also aged 13, were badly injured.
Why?
Because he was distracted by the woman's underwear advertisment!!!
Advertisers are aiming to make their ads as attention grabbing as possible. Truely, the fashion cafe in Barcelona has done it well!
