On 16th Nov 2007, my friends and I volunteed for the President's Challenge to bring the people from the Parkison's Diease Society, out for a day of fun at Chinese Garden.One to one. The picture below is the beneficiary that I was taking care of for the day. He was interviewed on TV before. The one beside him is his wife. (Very nice people!) Mr. and Mrs. Ho.
We are just resting down after our Amazing Race. (I think i am more tired then Mr. Ho.)
After giving out the food for them to eat... it was time for us to eat! Look at how i am eating.. I didnt even know that my 'Gan-Ma' (the photographer for the day) was taking picture of me in this ugly posture. Anyways i was just trying to eat faster, so that i can go back to accompany Mr and Mrs Ho.
We had a lucky draw at the end. The first 5 winners get to choose their prizes on the table. And the assigned volunteers will have to do some 'fall-feet' to entertain the audience!I was just thinking how much i don't want my number to be called. But it's all for Mr and Mrs Ho, so... i guess i have no problem in sacrificing.
Oh Behold! My number was the FIRST ONE TO BE CALLED!!
'What in the world are you doing?' Well, my 'fall-feet' was to do a hoo-la hood thingi. (Believe me, i never suceed in it before)
Trying to keep it there... (Please... just let me go...) 
Mr. Ho was so nice...he asked me to choose the prize for him.
Knowing me... hee... Of course I chose the biggest!!
Quite heavy though...
Got to know new friends there from other departments.
She and her little brother has also been the highlight of the day... So cute!!
(Guess where i am... hmmmm...) Truely, I really enjoyed myself... and i noticed that the beneficiary were laughing and having fun... This has been a great event!
The program details, the history of chinese garden and some background knowlegde of the diease were provided early to us. The event was well-prepared!
