Bedtime Secret by The Body Shop

Recently, my colleague recommended me this Deep Sleep midst from The Body Shop. All you need to do is spray it on your pillow before you sleep. Thats all!! Simple man!! It produces this aromatic smell.... nice... And honestly, I've been trying it for the past 3 nights, damn freakin useful!!

Then I saw this little secret bedtime brochure next to the product... And for people like me who has difficulty sleeping or wakes up half way.... and then wakes up again after a few hours... (if you know what I mean) Read the below.... I think it's good infor!

Good Sleeping Habits

1. Sleep-wake Schedule:

Go to bed and get up at about the same time every night and morning respectively, including weekends. Try to have a regular schedule of going to bed and waking up. This will help you to anchor your circadian ("biological") clock and establish a consistent rhythm of sleep.

2. Stimulus Control:
Go to bed only when you are feeling sleepy. If you are not asleep after 20 mins, then get out of the bed and engage in a relaxing activity like light reading or watching television. Go back to bed when you are feeling sleepy again.

3. Food & Drink:
Avoid heavy meals within 2 hrs of bedtime. Do not go to bed hungry either. Avoid fluids close to bedtime to prevent awakening to go to the toilet. Avoid caffeine after lunch and using alcohol as a sleep aid. Limit caffeine intake to one or two beverages a day, no less than four hours before bedtime.

4. Bedtime Routine:
Establish a relaxing pre-sleep routine while getting ready to go to bed, e.g. reading, watching tv, listening to music. Set time aside to relax and practice natural relaxation techniques, e.g. deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation.

5. Napping:
Avoid taking long daytime naps unless you are sleep deprived. If afternoon nap is taken, do not exceed more than 20-30 mins.

6. Exercise:
Regular physical exercise is encouraged but vigorous physical activity should be avoided before bedtime. Do not engage in vigorous exercise 4 hrs before bedtime.

I hope this will help you though.... especially life in a fast pace and damn freakin' stressful (money money money!!!) kinda' country....
