Back from Japan (Part l)

Arrival in Japan.... No time to go toilet... rushed up the bus to the hotel.... (if we waited... it would be at least an hour long...)

Out the window of the super long long long ride to Grand Prince Plaza Hotel at Akasaka....

And the freaking Jap style room rocks!! DAMN HUGE!!!

(Oh... By the way... if you are wondering why there is a Hello Kitty Pillow above... continue scrolling down and read... Wahahah...)

Hung our clothes.... placed our toiletries... And time to head to the train station!!

We went to Hello Kitty Gift Shop....

And I was rather disappointed lah... the guidebook shows the Hello Kitty shop like very huge and got many stuffs like that.... then end up super small... similar to a MiniToons shop here in Singapore.... Not many softtoys... so end up I bought more of those small small things.... heeE!!

That's my current make up pouch... It's rather interesting.. cause it is also a tissue pouch in one...


And my dad told me.... "you want anything from here I buy for you..."

Without hesitation... I pointed at the largest Pink Hello Kitty Pillow right at the top of the shelf... And Dad said "OK!"

I was like thinking... "Sure bo? Never even ask me how much..."

True enough, right after I told him the price that it's almost 200 bucks.... He said got another or not? I am damn.... hahaha!! So I chose this... 40 plus pillow.... Damn cute!!

It therefore became my bolster for the rest of the nights in Japan.... But hor but hor BUT HOR!!! Some mornings when I woke up.... I found out that my brother, who was sleeping next to my bed, was hugging the Hello Kitty pillow!! OMG!! SINCE WHEN HE TOOK IT AHHH??!


See... the interesting thing about Hello Kitty in Japan... is in every single plastic bag you were given after a purchase, they will attach this small cute dangling thingi.... Not only at the Hello Kitty Gift Shop... even at Isetan!! See how many I collected....

Then we shopped at Isetan.... Saw Hello Kitty and couldn't resist this bag!! It's limited edition Tokidoki Bag from a Hello Kitty collaboration. It's about 120 SGD....

And I got this pouch free....

And we had dinner at this famous beef tongue restaurant.... that by the way... ONLY sells beef tongue lor.... (wanna escape also cannot.... damn...)

Took the train back to the hotel after a tiring day....

Day 2

Breakfast at "280" place.... No....it did not sell everything at 280 yen. The reason why we called it the "280 place" cause there is this freaking huge ad outside showing a super delicious beef bowl for 280 yen....

After breakfast.... we headed to the famous temple in Tokyo ...

ARRIVED!

Alot of merchandising going on.... OK... I tell you a secert.... the items get cheaper on the way in... so DON'T just stop at the first shop you see and buy.... Go in... walk in and see.....

This 24hr restaurant sells the BEST RAMEN I HAVE EVER TASTED BEFORE IN MY ENTIRE FREAKING LIFE!!

The moment you go in.... you have to pay for your meal in the vending machine... then you have to fill in a form.... The form asks you questions like how tasty you want your soup base to be... how much fats for the meat... how salty...... how spicy.... how you want your noodles to be.... firm, medium etc.... WAH!!


EVERYTHING IS COOKED ACCORDING TO YOUR TASTE!!

I will recommend this to anyone who is heading to Shibuya!! (too hungry to snap any picture of the food.... too damn good!!)


Everyone has an individually cubicle... your own water your own everything.... And then you don't even get to see the waiter's face.... Once they pass you your bowl of ramen... they will close the curtain to give you your own privacy!!
